Thank you for your enquiry about our COSHH testing services for educational and commercial fume extraction systems. Our qualified COSHH test engineers are equipped to carry out surveys in compliance with COSHH regulations 7 and 9 and Health & Safety guidance (HSG258). Through Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing, we measure the efficiency and integrity of the extraction system using airflow instruments, smoke tests, and dust lamps. Our engineers use their expertise to analyze the results and identify design flaws, defects, and maintenance issues that may affect the performance of your LEV system.
Once the COSHH safety test is complete, we provide you with a detailed report that includes the findings of the survey, comments, recommendations, and remedial work required. We recommend carrying out LEV testing at least once every 14 months, although some systems may require more frequent testing. Once we issue the test report, we add your details to our database and issue a reminder one month before the re-test date to help you plan for the next examination.
